Personal First Aid Kit

Once again 3rd Kildare (1st Celbridge) Scouts have saved us from re-inventing the wheel. They have a simple page demonstrating what should go into your personal first aid kit. Click here to see the full article...

Here is an abridged version:

"Scouts have to put together their Personal First Aid Kit...
This doesnt have to be expensive.  Much of what's needed will most likely be at home.  Large stores will have anything else you need.  The attached photo shows a few of the things I picked up in a certain large store in a nearby town, nothing cost more than €1.50 and some only 40c.
Scissors aren't an essential item, but I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get proper First Aid Scissors for just €1.35.
Money saving tips: a) check and see what's at home firstb) split larger packets of plasters, antiseptic wipes between two scouts.c) dig out an old pencil case or perhaps a small tin or lunch box that might fit the bill to hold your personal First Aid Kit.
Don't forget to label it CLEARLY with your name and the words First Aid."
